Hi!

My name is Benjamin Locke, or Ben if it please ya’. I was born and raised in the town of Rochdale, England and currently live with my partner in Halifax, West Yorkshire.

I was a late bloomer in to the reading world, only picking up and reading books seriously from about my mid teenage years. Since then though I have been fascinated by the written world and have ever since dreamed of being a writer.

My favourite genre has to be Fantasy, with my all time favourite books/ series being Stephen King’s ‘Dark Tower’, Robert Jordan’s ‘Wheel of time’, Brandon Sanderson’s ‘Mistborn’,  and of course Tolkien’s ‘Lord of the rings’. I do love other genres and authors including nearly everything else Stephen King has written, Dean Koontz, Terry Pratchett, Dan Brown and Andy Mcnab.

Musically I love anything Pink Floyd, Mike Oldfield, ELO and some Genesis. Basically I like old music and nothing that came out while I was growing up (90’s/00’s). Visually and quite obviously my favourite thing to watch is Peter Jackson’s ‘Lord of the Rings’ trilogy and 24 and LOST fight it out in my head as my all time favourite TV show.
