Hi, and welcome!

It’s been a while hasn’t it?!

This year, although I’m not taking part in NaNoWriMo, I did decide to set myself. Another challenge! Starting from remeberence day (November 11 in the UK) I challenged myself to plot(ish), write, edit, format, design a cover AND publish a short story by Christmas.

I’m somewhat lazy when it comes to writing. Don’t get me wrong, I love writing and creating worlds but for me, life is so full of distraction that my magpie brain just can’t keep focused. That’s why I set myself this challenge and put it out there for the world to see, so I can hold myself to account. I'll even be filming and photographing the whole process along the way so be sure to check in for (semi)regular updates as it all unfolds. Then, once it’s all over and fat man has managed squeeze himself down the chimney, I plan to stitch it all together in to a sort of short documentary. 
These are all things I have never done before. It’s daunting and exciting in equal measure so I hope that you will join me and cheer me on over the next 6 weeks or so!
